A Topical Play Tomorrow Evening and Friday


Thursday 31 May at 7 pm at the National Art Gallery in Ottawa

Vincent van Gogh: A Life in Paintings
Well known and much respected Dutch performer and theatre-maker Frank Groothof takes the role of both Vincent and his brother Theo. The scenes are accompanied by music from Van Gogh’s contemporaries and beautifully animated images, synchronized with the narrative by use of large video-projections. Sponsored by the Embassy of the Kingdom of The Netherlands.

Free admission, a limited quantity of advance passes are available starting May 12 in person at the NGC Box Office or by phone at 613-998-8888. Doors open at 6:30 pm for pass holders. Remaining seats will be released for general admission at 6:40 pm and seating will not be guaranteed to pass holders after this time. Presentation starts at 7 pm. In the Auditorium. Limited seating.
